T103 at Race Rocks on April 18!

Unfortunately I didn't get on the water today but my friend Mark Malleson aka 'Mallard', who works for Prince of Whales , was out and spotted the Transient 'mammal eating' killer whale (Orcinus orca) T103 at Race Rocks Marine Protected Area.

Here is his report:
"I originally found T103 skulking along the shoreline of East Sooke park heading east at 12:30. After looping through Becher Bay he entered the western edge of Race Rocks reserve. After a short visit to Race Rocks he made off to the west into the 20 knot westerly with the outgoing tide and was last seen at 15:45 a mile south of Becher Bay."

Once again he got some nice shots and here they are!

Lucky guy! Wish I was on the water today!
